SAINT PHILIP SCHOOL

PARTICIPATION INCENTIVE PROGRAM

(PIP)

Saint Philip BOOSTERS and the PARENT/TEACHER CLUB (PTC) have initiated an incentive program in hopes of increasing attendance at their regular meetings and sponsored events.   The program works in the following manner:

A Special drawing will consist of 3/$100 awards, one each for K-3, 4-7, and 8th grades, to be used toward fees or tuition.   For those who do not go to a Catholic High School, 120 tickets on the major festival raffle.   Also, any 8th grader who does not attend a Catholic High School will receive the tickets instead of the $100 paid toward their tuition.   The program will begin on July 1st of the year, and end the following year on June 30th.

PTC: All parents (mothers and fathers) are encouraged to attend monthly PTC meetings.   The PTC hosts annual fund raisers such as the Ladies' Stagette, and product surveys.   Many needed dollars are generated because of the PTC's devoted efforts and are used, for example, for purchasing of new textbooks, computers, etc.

The PTC has ten regularly scheduled meetings.   Any member attending six of these meetings will be entered in the special drawing.   An additional entry is earned for each additional meeting attended over six.

BOOSTERS: Parents, especially those with children involved in sports, are encouraged to join and participate in the Boosters Organization.   The Boosters host gatherings and dances during the year.   They sponsor our athletic teams, run the concession stand during baseball and soccer seasons and provide playground equipment for the school children.

The Boosters have 11 regularly scheduled meetings.   Any member attending seven of these meetings will be entered in the special drawing.   An additional entry is earned for each additional meeting attended over seven.

The special drawings will be held at the following times:

Members without school children …June Boosters Meeting

Eighth grade parents …June Boosters Meeting

Kindergarten thru Third Grade …August PTC Meeting

Fourth thru Seventh Grade …August PTC Meeting

Look for regularly scheduled Boosters and PTC meetings indicated on the monthly calendars attached to the church bulletin.   They are also indicated in the weekly school newsletter.

THE SAINT PHILIP PARENT TEACHER CLUB

The Saint Philip PTC meets once each month on the 2nd Wednesday at 7 P.M. in the school hall.  Any mother or father who attends six or more of the ten meetings is eligible for the Participation Incentive Program which provides two $100 prizes toward the winners' tuition accounts.

PTC's fund raisers include:  the magazine drive, monthly Market Day sales, a Stagette in February, a Bengal's Game, P&G survey participation and grocery receipt collection.

These fund raisers provide money that helps enrich our children's education through field trips, computer lab supplies and equipment, and the Everybody Counts, disability awareness program.   PTC keeps tuition and book bill costs down by providing funds for tuition assistance and new textbooks.

The involvement of parents in these activities lets our students see how much we care about them and their education.  So, please, come and join us whenever you can attend.  Remember it might just save you $100.

Please support PTC's program throughout the year!
